Employee teams utilize just-in-time lean production techniques to build quality into every chassis as it moves down the line. Before each chassis leaves the plant, final inspection and testing of all systems takes place in our on-site roll-test facility.

Cummins® Diesel Engines

Diesel engines are more reliable and require less maintenance, are built with fewer parts, operate at lower piston speeds and generate less internal heat than other engines. Ample torque provides effortless hill climbing and acceleration with better fuel efficiency and economy. And all of the engines utilize the latest SCR technology, proven to meet emissions requirements for 2010 EPA legislation.

Sturdy Frame Construction
FCCC builds the sturdiest commercial bus frames in the industry to reduce frame deflection and body stress and improve ride. The XB Series features 9-inch rails with rear-frame sleeve liners for more body strength. The MB-65 features 5/16-inch x 2.75-inch x 9-1/8-inch steel rails for larger, heavier coach bodies, and the S2 Series offers a substantial frame with 5/16-inch x 3-inch x 10-1/8-inch steel rails.

Allison® Transmissions
Every FCCC commercial bus chassis comes standard with a transmission by Allison, the leader in commercial vehicle transmissions. The Allison B210, B220, B300, 1000 PTS, 2200 PTS and 3000 PTS Series are available on most models. Electronic controls provide smooth shifting for exceptional performance and fuel economy.

Quality Suspension
The MB-65 and S2 Series bus chassis offer quality spring-loaded suspensions as standard with optional air suspension systems. The XB Series is standard with front and rear air suspension systems.

FCCC offers compressed natural gas and liquid propane commercial bus chassis options, as well as a hybrid-electric chassis designed, built and Altoona-tested by FCCC.

Exceptional Warranty
FCCC's limited two-year, 24,000-mile warranty for commercial bus applications and one-year, 12,000-mile warranty on transit applications (frame warranty is five years/100,000 miles) is backed by more than 400 dealers in North America who have been specially trained to service your FCCC chassis.
